Last night’s Federal Labor Budget means higher energy prices, higher taxes, and provides zero cost of living relief for hard-working Victorian families.
Only the Liberals and Nationals have a clear plan to reward hard-working Victorian families, such as $2 tram and train fares, half price V/Line fares, and we will cut seven Labor taxes including the uber and taxi tax.
Victoria has been dudded on infrastructure funding, with important projects cut in order to fund Mr Andrews’ dodgy Suburban Rail Loop, which hasn’t been approved by Infrastructure Australia.
In fact, 85 cents of every additional dollar in infrastructure funding announced in the Budget will go to the Suburban Rail Loop.
Meanwhile, there is no additional funding for our health system, which is in crisis.
The only way to fix the health crisis without raising taxes, and to reward hard-working Victorian families, is to vote Liberals and Nationals on November 26.
