Jo Armstrong
CANDIDATE FOR RIPON

A fair share for regional Victorians.

Lower inflation - a stronger economy.

Cheaper energy.

Affordable homes.

Safer communities.

Better healthcare for the regions.

A fair share for regional Australians.

I’m a proud Tatyoon local who has spent ten years serving this community as a councillor, including as Mayor and Deputy Mayor. I know what it means to live and work here, to be accountable to my neighbours, deliver on a budget, and actually get things done.

Right across the Ripon electorate, people are doing it tough. The cost of living keeps rising, our roads are falling apart, health services are harder to access, and everyone I speak to has an example of the current crime crisis. The Emergency Services Tax has ripped through our community, while our money disappears into blowouts and corrupt projects for Melbourne. All that regional Victoria gets is the same old excuses, time and time again. No genuine consultation, and no transparency. Enough is enough.

While a councillor, I’ve spent years fighting for better roads, more health services and housing that locals can afford. Real things that make a real difference. And I’ll keep fighting, because this region deserves our fair share, and it deserves a representative who will put the people before the politics.

People in Ripon are tired of being an afterthought. We are tired of corruption, broken promises, and politicians who dodge the hard questions. I will commit to you that I will front up, I will stick to what I say and always fight for what is best for our region. That’s the standard I’ll hold myself to if elected.

I’m running for the Ripon electorate because this community needs someone in their corner who tells it straight, owns their decisions, and fights for results, not for politics.
