Hi I’m Brett Hosking,
For five generations my family has lived and worked in this area, and for the last 30 years my wife Jane and I have been raising our own four daughters and running our own business here.

I firmly believe in the opportunities that exist for our part of this state although I also understand firsthand the pressures facing regional families and small businesses.

Through more than a decade of leadership with organisations like the Victorian Farmers’ Federation, including as President, and through local volunteer roles I have worked to deliver real and meaningful outcomes for regional communities.

I have stood up for regional people, fought for better policy, and built a reputation as a strong, practical advocate who gets results and cares for the people I represent.

I am putting my hand up because I believe regional Victorians deserve better.

We need to bring transparency and accountability back to government, and make sure decisions are made in the best interests of the people who live and work in our communities.

I will tackle the issues that matter most to us all, easing cost-of-living pressures, strengthening local healthcare and education, making our communities safe, and helping more families achieve the dream of home ownership…and don’t forget fixing our roads!

When elected, I will work every day to make sure the people of Murray Plains get their fair share and a better future.
