Christmas message from Danny O’Brien MP

Dear Editor,

As the year draws to a close and we prepare to celebrate Christmas, it is a welcome opportunity to pause and enjoy time with family, friends and the wider community.

It has been a privilege to serve the people of Gippsland South throughout the year. I remain committed to listening, being accessible and advocating for our region so our communities continue to thrive.

I hope everyone has the chance to take a break and enjoy the simple pleasures of summer in Gippsland with its longer days, local events and more time spent outdoors with family and friends.

I also want to acknowledge and offer thanks to those who will be working over the Christmas period, including emergency services, health workers and others who help keep our communities safe and running.

As we look ahead to the New Year, I hope the spirit of Christmas carries forward, encouraging goodwill, connection and unity throughout the year ahead.

I wish all Gippsland South residents a safe and Merry Christmas and a wonderful summer.
