Regional Victoria deserves better than being taken for granted
After years of Labor failing to deliver for country communities, the Liberal-Nationals are ready to get on with the job of rebuilding regional Victoria.
That means fixing the roads we rely on every day, with a $5 billion investment to repair and rebuild Victoria’s road network, alongside $288 million for country roads and bridges.
It means safer communities, with 3,000 additional police, tougher bail and sentencing laws and real consequences for repeat offenders.
It means rebuilding regional healthcare by attracting more doctors, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals to country communities.
It means building more homes by cutting red tape and unlocking land so families and young people can afford to stay, work and build their future locally.
And it means easing the pressure on household budgets by scrapping Labor’s Emergency Services Tax and unlocking gas for more affordable and reliable energy.
But above all, regional Victoria needs a fair go.
Our Fair Share Guarantee will ensure regional Victorians receive at least 25 per cent of new infrastructure investment.
For communities across the Euroa electorate, that means a government that recognises the contribution regional Victorians make and invests accordingly.
Better roads, safer communities, stronger healthcare and a fair share of infrastructure investment.
The Nationals are ready to govern and rebuild regional Victoria.
Regional Victorians deserve nothing less.
