Gemma Rendell
CANDIDATE FOR GIPPSLAND EAST

A fair share for regional Victorians.

Lower inflation - a stronger economy.

Cheaper energy.

Affordable homes.

Safer communities.

Better healthcare for the regions.

A fair share for regional Australians.

Born and educated in East Gippsland, I’m a school teacher, community volunteer and farmer who is raising my young family with my partner Baden in Bairnsdale.

I’m focused on delivering a fairer share of government funding for the regions and improving essential services for people of all ages.

I want to deliver a safer, fairer and more affordable regional Victoria. I want make sure that everyone growing up in our region has the chance to learn the skills to succeed in life.

If you work hard in your own small business, on a farm, at an office or in a school and hospital, you should be able to get ahead. Right now, it feels like we are banging our heads against a wall and no-one is listening to us in the State Government.

I will be a strong voice and a positive example to young families that you can have a prosperous future living and working in our magnificent region.

Outside of work, I enjoy hunting to provide food for my family and control pest species, and I’ve always been involved in sporting and community groups.

As a proud East Gippslander, I know our region already makes an amazing contribution to the wealth of Victoria but with more funding for roads, hospitals, emergency services and local infrastructure, our community would be even stronger.
