Each year at State Conference the Party gives out a number of awards to members.

Details of each category are below, and to nominate someone, please complete the form below.

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR
The Volunteer of the Year award recognises a significant contribution to the party by an individual member. It is awarded to a member who has been active, engaged and dedicated.
The individual may have contributed to the party by:

  • dedicating a significant amount of time to a National Party event or campaign;
  • assisted their local Nationals MP, Branch, District Council or the Head Office in a significant way;
  • championed a local issue with the National Party brand or raised brand awareness;
  • any other relevant contribution to the party that has resulted in some benefit for the party.

BRANCH/DISTRICT COUNCIL OF THE YEAR
The Branch of the Year award recognises a significant contribution to the party by a Victorian National Party Branch. It is awarded to a branch that has been active, engaged and dedicated.
The Branch may be eligible based on one or more of the following criteria:

  • increased or ongoing Branch events and activities, encouraging engagement and socialisation of Branch members;
  • significant recruitment of members;
  • organisation of a significant or state-wide event;
  • any other relevant contribution to the party that has resulted in some benefit for the party.

FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR
The Fundraiser of the Year award recognises an individual, group of people, Branch or District Council that has raised a significant amount of funds for party in the 12 months leading up to the State Conference.
The award may be given based on:

  • an event that raised a significant amount of funds; or
  • a collection of individual donations that were pursued by an individual, group, Branch or District Council.
