The Nationals’ Member for Eastern Victoria Melina Bath is encouraging local multicultural organisations to apply for funding with the Multicultural Festivals and Events Grant Program.
The program offers funding up to $50,000 for local community organisations to hold cultural festivals and events. Applications for this grant round are open until 23 October 2025.
Ms Bath said that the funding could make a significant difference for local organisations, particularly those requiring financial support to host local events.
“Our local multicultural organisations are such a big part of our Gippsland community.
“There are many much loved local festivals and events that bring people together, attract visitors to the region through their celebration of culture and diversity.
“Our region is enriched by our multicultural residents and the contributions they continue to make in Gippsland.
“Additional funding can go a long way in supporting grassroots organisations to celebrate culture.
“I encourage local multicultural organisations to apply and take advantage of this opportunity.”
