The Nationals Member for Lowan, Emma Kealy, is encouraging local cricket clubs, schools, councils and facility managers to apply for the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund.
Ms Kealy said the funding was a great chance to strengthen local cricket facilities and get more people involved, no matter their age or experience.
“Great local sporting facilities make it easy for anyone to have a go, whether it’s their first time picking up a bat or they’ve been part of their club for years. Investing in these spaces keeps cricket welcoming and accessible for everyone,” she said.
ACIF is funded by Cricket Victoria and Cricket Australia, supporting community cricket projects that focus on growing participation and improving access across the state.

Ms Kealy said investing in grassroots cricket went far beyond the playing field.
“Cricket grounds are where friendships grow, young people gain confidence, and families come together. This funding is a real chance for local clubs to upgrade their facilities so everyone can join in and enjoy the game,” she said.
