The endorsement of Gemma Rendell as The Nationals candidate for Gippsland East is great news for our region.
Gemma brings a strong mix of experience as a teacher, farmer, mother and community volunteer, along with a genuine passion for East Gippsland and its future. She understands the challenges facing local families and businesses and will be a tireless advocate for the communities she calls home.
I would also like to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of Tim Bull, who has represented Gippsland East with distinction for almost two decades. Tim has been a strong voice for the region and leaves a legacy of hard work, integrity and commitment to local communities.
Gemma is ready to build on that foundation and help deliver the fresh start Gippsland needs. With a strong team focused on regional Victoria, The Nationals will secure a fairer share of funding, improve essential services and ensure communities like ours are not left behind.
I look forward to working closely with Gemma as we continue fighting for a stronger future for Gippsland East and regional Victoria.
