Our Justice of the Peace service is a small but important service for people across our community.
Every Thursday from 10am to 12pm, volunteer JPs come into my office to help locals with witnessing documents, certifying copies and other matters that require a Justice of the Peace.
We are looking for additional JPs to join the roster and help keep this service available each Thursday.
The more volunteers we have, the less often each individual JP needs to give up their Thursday morning. Even volunteering occasionally can make a real difference and help share the load across the roster.
Having a JP service available locally saves people time and can mean they do not have to travel elsewhere to find someone available to assist with their documents.
